​We like to use some of the best equipment in the business to work on your floors, making sure the quality we deliver is second to none.
EQUIPMENT
The main sanding machine is a Hummel 200mm belt sander which is tested with emissions of less than 1mg/m³ dust, with a cyclone fitted to improve the emissions even on a Granwood floor. We work to a very high standard and keeping disturbance to a minimum is a priority for any job we undertake as well as making sure the area is clean after the work is completed.
We use polyurethane seals, the majority are either moisture cured solvent based or water base that have unrivalled durability and are ideal for areas subjected to heavy wear. They have excellent tractional properties and come with a variety of finishes, for example: gloss, satin, silk or matte, depending on the usage of the floor. Older moisture cured solvent based seals are very easily applied and are economical to maintain. Advice on which seals are to be used will be given so you can get the best result for the floor and usage.
If a full sanding isn't the solution we can give the floor a scrub and reseal. This will bring back the new floor look but with a reduced price.
If you have sport courts we undertake the re-lining of any inside sports courts, to any standard you require.
If it is only the after care of your floor that you are interested in we can give maintenance schedules, which suit your floor type and usage. Even training in the upkeep of the floor surface can be given, or a service agreement can be agreed to suit your floor and your budget.
If repairs are needed we can replace any worn, split boards, strips or blocks.
We like to use the recommended seal and products for the floors, so if it is a Granwood floor the products that are used would be Granwax products and the same for Junckers floors, Junckers products are used. For hard wood floors the condition and usage is taken into account to decide what products are used.
